Xavier, you established GB Ouest in September 2006. What was your career path before this ?
Before GB Ouest, I had a very formative experience while working with one of the largest consultancy companies in France, where I established and managed a team dedicated to the management of projects. Immediately after, I co-founded a company specialized in financial consultancy and IT security. I sold this company in 2005.

What were your motivations in creating this company ?
In creating GB Ouest, I wanted to combine the benefits and potentials associated with the industrial sector, and the independence and flexibility of a smaller company. All of this by proposing innovative solutions to our customers.

Can you tell us some more about these innovative solutions?
Within the consulting industry, there is a marked gap between those companies who simply analyse and recommend without accompanying their project up to final implementation, and those companies specializing in “Technical Assistance” who execute tasks requested by the customer without ever questioning their pertinence. At GB Ouest, the two services merge to complement each other: strategic recommendations result in operational projects, where we are on the ground to accompany our customers up to the final implementation of a solution.
